i love the smiles and expressions on the boys’ face as they wrestle; and sunny’s perplexed face as she watches
at three weeks, the doctors like a baby to be back to their birth weight. wren sailed right on by – good girl!
after weeks of fussiness and no appetite, sunny finally rounded the corner. she woke up happy, and during breakfast kept exclaiming – “dis good mommy. ummmmmmm!”
she then proceeded to ask for seconds, polished that off, and when i turned around she was licking the crumbs from the table. phew – its good to have her back!
at supper, she wasn’t about to let her beloved kitty have any of her supper. and when the naughty feline attempted a “sneak attack”, sunny promptly spank it
clint and the boys had the best time playing capture the flag with water balloons – i love summer!
cline loves babies – especially his precious sister wren. while holding her, i heard him whispering in the same singsong voice adults use while talking to babies….
“i love you so much, yes i do, yes i do.” “you’re so beautiful, yes you are.” “you’re just so awesome….so awesome.” “you’re the best baby ever.”
then, turning to me, he announced, “i want to marry baby wren.”
saturday fun at the gerber pond. and no, sunny doesn’t have eyesight problems, just a very unique sense of style.
