before heading out to explore the barns and cabin here on the farm, cline put on his explorer hat and grabbed a (pretend) pistol. zion choose a sword and shield; they were ready for anything!
and to think that some people worry homeschooled children won’t turn out normal…..
the best way i’ve found to keep sunny out of trouble is to keep her occupied – at all times. the thing i haven’t figured out is how on earth to do that while i’m trying to teach school, run a household, build a house and nurse a baby.
instead of naps, the boys often have “quiet hour” where they listen to bible story cd’s and (in theory) play quietly by themselves
i hope the baby kitties can survive all the lovin’. after we picked up the kittens, hudson suggested casting lots to see who got which kitten; made me smile. he really is soaking in what he hears on the Bible story tapes.
since she was born, “you are my sunshine” has been one of the special songs we sing to sunny at bedtime
