at the hotel in shipshewana with my gerber family, if sunny wasn’t swimming, she was wishing that she was
at bedtime, we put sunny to bed in our room in the crib, hooked up the monitor and snuck out.
over an hour later, i headed back to our room to put wren down – imagine my surprise when i caught sunny coming out – fully dressed, pullup off, undies on, (yes, she took herself to the pottie – wiped too) shirt on backwards, shoes on the wrong foot, all decked out in her favorite color. it seems she woke up and thought it was morning.

because of the coming snowstorm, we all took off early to come home from shipshewana. it was a beautiful snow, and the boys had such fun playing in it before the hard cold hit
