seeing as how our house has zero grass or landscaping, sunny and i are really babying the miniature blueberry bushes that i planted
so much fun at grandma’s (i think sunny went swimming 4 different times throughout the day)
i’ve heard of some babies who just stop nursing all on their own …. heard of them, but never actually had one of them. what can i say, my kids love me
poor little wren seems to think that her entire world is getting very shook up, maybe ending as i’m starting to wean her. i thought since she’d drink water from a bottle, milk would be no problem
no such luck.
because i want my precious baby to be healthy, smart, well developed and everything wonderful, i thought to try raw goat’s milk – no go – my normally happy baby has been screaming at me and throwing the bottle across the room
next step, turn the milk into yogurt – slight success. the texture is all wrong, kinda like snot, but wren will eat it – phew
sunny thought it looked tasty so she took a biet.
“actually, it’s not very good.” she stated. i’ll take her word for it and hope the next batch turns out better
let the good times roll
feeling rather pleased and slightly glamorous after braiding my hair in a new way, i waited and waited for the boys to notice. finally i asked, “did you notice anything different about my hair?”
cline – “it’s in a bun?”
hudson – “you look a lot older like that.”
cline – “i like it the normal way better”
hudson – “i think you’d look much younger with a long braid.”
i never should have asked – brother
wren’s drawn to the mud/dirt around our house like a fly to honey.
because we’ve been dealing with this…
she’s been getting a lot of these
